Flying up to Cape Reinga region via Northland’s spectacular harbours, you will also pass beautiful beaches including the famous Ninety Mile Beach. Landing at a private airfield, you journey continues in a luxury vehicle and you will visit the iconic Cape Reinga Lighthouse. See the giant sand dunes at Te Paki stream and try your hand at dune surfing.
Returning to the air, a short flight will take you over spectacular and remote scenery before you land at your lunch spot near the beach at Henderson Bay.
Continuing on, you will explore the idyllic harbours and islands off the east coast before returning to your delightful accommodation.

Accommodation: Three nights at Huka Lodge, Lake Taupo in a Junior Lodge Suite
Today you will be met at your accommodation for your private overland transfer to Kerikeri airport where you will board your flight to Taupo with your onward private transfer to your sublimely beautiful accommodation at Huka Lodge, where every last detail for your comfort has been carefully considered.

Departing on a 6-7-hour trip, you will fly south from the Lodge to the Kaimanawa Range wilderness, with possible sightings of wild horses and Red or Sika deer. You will land next to the famous Rangitikei River to view the large trophy-size Rainbow trout. You will then return to the lake edge via areas of volcanic activity and craters of the Tongariro National Park.
After your 1 hour 20 minute flight, your vessel will be found awaiting your arrival in a remote bay on Lake Taupo. You will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch and, whilst cruising back to the Taupo Marina try your hand at trout fishing as you take in the spectacular scenery.

This morning you will be collected from Wharekauhau for your private helicopter flight over the Cook Strait to the western side of the Marlborough Sounds and onto D’Urville Island for a spot of reef fishing. Once you have a decent catch, you will hop across to a sheltered bay where it will be combined with fresh local produce for a dining experience like no other. With a glass of fine local wine or a cold craft beer in hand, you will relax and enjoy the pristine beaches and native bush.
You will then fly onto Nelson via the Mt. Richmond Forest Park with a mountain landing (weather permitting) before continuing on to you sublimely beautiful accommodation, perfectly positioned on Nelson’s historic Bronte Peninsula.
